Today marks an important milestone for our B2B Collaboration business.
IBM and Aricent, a global design and engineering firm, are expanding our collaboration to include support for IBM Control Center, IBM Secure Proxy and IBM External Authentication Server (SEAS). This expanded collaboration will deliver new developments for IBM’s B2B Integration and Managed File Transfer (MFT) portfolios and is part of IBM’s strategy to deliver best-in-class solutions.
We have already been working closely on development and support for IBM Connect:Direct, IBM Connect:Express and IBM Connect:Enterprise products. This new phase is a natural extension of our collaboration to deliver offerings that enable critical transactions and data exchange that are frictionless, always-on, and scalable.
IBM’s B2B Integration and MFT solutions empower organizations to improve information flows across business relationships that are critical to their business and supply chain – and provide greater visibility to IT and business users. We know from our conversations with clients that prioritizing cloud deployment models is key. IBM and Aricent are keenly interested in applying the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to B2B Integration and MFT use cases to drive even greater business value for our clients. This partnership enables us to further extend the value and capabilities we provide to our clients and business partners.
“We’re proud that hundreds of clients have embraced the new generation of IBM Control Center and depend on it for visibility into their business-critical file transfers and key B2B integration processes. Still, we see an opportunity to deliver further value and believe that this partnership will help us to achieve that objective,” said Richard Hearn, GM, WW Sales & Offerings for IBM Watson Customer Engagement.
“We’re honored that IBM recognizes Aricent’s ability to deliver engineering excellence and has extended their partnership with us,” said Rick Padinha, Chief Operating Officer at Aricent. “This partnership exemplifies IBM’s continued investment in its B2B Collaboration product roadmap and a commitment to innovation. By leveraging Aricent’s wide array of capabilities, IBM can further strengthen its product portfolio to provide customers with greater value and an improved user experience.”
We expect 2018 to be an exciting year for IBM, Aricent and our clients in the B2B Collaboration and MFT space. We will keep you updated as our work progresses. In the meantime, check out the following resources to learn more about B2B Integration , MFT , Control Center , Secure Proxy and Aricent .
